Our Elo system is a classic Elo implementation with ratings based on a 400 scale with a K-factor of 50. A detailed explanation can be found here.

Note that this implementation has been updated to fit a 3-player game where there can be one winner and two losers (the usual situation), one loser and two winners (on disconnection) or a draw.

Games played in training mode do not update the player's Elo.

How to play

With friends

Follow Create a custom game and hit Create to be able to invite friends and choose custom game settings.

Against random players

Follow Join public queue to enter the queue and play with random players.

To train

Yalta chess allows you to play against bots with various difficulties to learn the game and improve your skills.

Head to Create a custom game and then Play to start a training with the chosen difficulty.
